OUR FLAVORFUL STORY

The Jelly Bean Planet was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1998 by a father and son duo who dared to be different. Peter and Richard Cullen had one guiding principle; to bring the finest and most natural flavors to people around the globe. In 2014, The Jelly Bean Planet was acquired by Cloetta, and the rest, as they say, is history. We’re a brand which dares to be different from regular sugar candy, we’re not what you’d expect and we’re proud of our multitude of bright colors and our gourmet, fabulous flavors, all of which give you a truly sensational taste experience.

EASTER JELLY BEAN

For a few decades now, jelly beans have become a staple during the Easter holiday. But how did this happen? During WWII, the preferred chocolate eggs were sent overseas for the troops, so there was a need for replacement of the missing sweets. Our gourmet jelly beans, with their similar shape to an Easter egg, quickly became a new favorite for those celebrating.

Symbolically, colored eggs brought by the Easter bunny represent rebirth and new life in the springtime, which makes our colorful jelly beans represent the joy and flavor of this beautiful Holiday!
